Train. Adapt. Prevail.
Competition-focused programming, workout logging, and performance tracking built for the events strongman athletes actually face.
For iPhone. A product of Forge & Frequency LLC.
Most training apps hand you a generic plan and leave you to bend it toward your contest. Mjölnir Forge starts from the other end: the events on the entry form, the implements you will actually pick up, and the date you have to be ready.
Define the contest before the training. Enter the date, the events, and the requirements that come with them.
Preparation is built around the demands of the contest you entered, not adapted from a general plan afterward. The events you selected and the equipment you have shape what appears in the program.
Workouts can carry the context that makes them worth doing properly.
Record what actually happened, in the units the movement is measured in.
Logged work accumulates into a training history you can actually read — what you lifted, when, and how it has moved across a preparation block.
Strongman and strongwoman events, Highland Games, and general strength training — with the implements, carries, loading events, and time-based scoring those disciplines depend on.
Base
Build general work capacity and reestablish the movements the preparation will depend on.
Build
Add load and event-specific exposure as the contest demands come into focus.
Peak
Sharpen toward competition weights, distances, and time limits.
Taper
Reduce accumulated fatigue while holding on to the readiness you built.
A yoke is not a squat. A stone is not a deadlift. Mjölnir Forge treats event work as its own category, with the implements and scoring formats strength sport actually uses.

The highlighted tag is the event's defining demand. The others are patterns it also trains — which is why a stone is not only a load, and a farmer's walk is as much a grip event as a carry. Event availability depends on your selected discipline and the equipment recorded in your profile.
Four moves from an entry form to a preparation block you can train against.
Add the date and the competition information so everything downstream has something to aim at.
Add implements, weights, distances, time limits, repetitions, and the other requirements the contest sets.
Generate the training structure that leads toward the contest across Base, Build, Peak, and Taper.
Complete workouts, track performance, and use the recorded information to understand how preparation is going.
Every mark. Every trial. Recorded in iron. The Forge Ledger is where logged work stops being a pile of sessions and becomes a record you can read.
Review previously completed work session by session, with the program and week it belonged to.
Track both actual performance and estimated one-rep maxes derived from the sets you logged.
Use recorded data to understand how a lift has moved across a time window rather than guessing.
Permanent accomplishments earned through recorded work, dated to when you actually earned them.
Recognition tied to training, competition, consistency, and progression across your history.
Longer-term progression through the Forge, measured across accumulated recorded work.
Sixteen marks recognise training, competition, consistency, and progression. Each one is tied to work you actually recorded.
Where relevant, Mjölnir Forge recognises strength totals reached through recorded training. These are not points or badges for opening the app — they mark work that was logged.
Mjölnir Forge is designed to be local-first. That is an architectural decision, not a marketing line, and it was made for three practical reasons.
The current app does not require a separate Mjölnir Forge login for its core experience. There is no Mjölnir Forge username or password to create, and no account database behind the training features.
App Store purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit, so subscription functions do involve Apple's services.
The Privacy Policy is the controlling description of what the app stores, what leaves your device, and how support requests are handled. Where this page and the policy differ, the policy governs.
If you live in Washington or Nevada, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy also applies to you and describes how information about your body and your training is handled.
Read the Privacy Policy Read the Consumer Health Data Privacy PolicyAn iOS training and competition-preparation system designed primarily around strongman-style competition. You describe the contest you are preparing for, build a preparation block around it, log your training, and review what that work produced.
No. Strongman is the primary design target, and strongwoman competition is supported throughout. Highland Games functionality is included where those events are supported. Athletes doing general strength training can use the programming and logging features without entering a competition at all.
The current app does not use a separate Mjölnir Forge username or password for its core experience. Your athlete profile, programs, and workout logs are stored on your device.
Purchases are tied to the Apple ID that bought them, which is how restoring a subscription works.
Core training functionality is designed for local use, so building and logging training does not depend on a connection.
Functions that involve outside services — App Store purchases, restoring a subscription, refreshing entitlement, or emailing support — do require connectivity.
It runs in that order: events, then competition requirements, then training phases.
You select the events on the contest. You enter what those events demand — implements, weights, distances, time limits, repetitions. The preparation is then structured across Base, Build, Peak, and Taper leading up to the date you entered.
No. It is a planning and training tool. It cannot watch your technique, see that you are moving badly today, or decide that a session should be abandoned.
Keep applying your own judgment and professional coaching where appropriate, particularly when choosing loads on days you feel unusually tired or beaten up.
No. Mjölnir Forge provides training planning and educational information. It is not a medical device, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an emergency service.
Heavy training and injuries carry real risk, and the app cannot evaluate your medical history or current clinical status. Consult a qualified clinician before beginning or changing training, follow the guidance they give you, and stop training if warning symptoms occur.
The Health and Safety section of the EULA is the controlling statement on this.

Apple manages App Store subscriptions, so cancellation happens in your Apple ID settings rather than in the app. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf.
Refunds are also decided by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Requesting a refund does not always cancel future billing, so cancel separately if you do not want it to renew.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset the app's data if that feature is available, or delete the app from your device.
If you delete the app or move to a new device, local app data may not appear unless it was restored by your device backup. Treat your device backup as the thing that protects your training history.
